I talked to my mother Friday night and heard some awesome news. Some very kind gentleman decided to take it upon himself to get my ex, her boyfriend, and their tent off my parents backlawn. Who? Know one has any idea. It came in as a random phone call. Here’s what happened.

Some guy called up to my parents house, apparently he must have blocked his number before calling because my parents have caller id. Anyways, when my dad answered this guy told my dad that if my parents didn’t get her off the backlawn, he was going to call child protective services on them! )

So my mother tells me they have no choice but to talk to my ex and tell her she has to go. That couldn’t be more amazing! I really wonder if this website had anything to do with it. Or perhaps it was just a entirely made up story for my parents to have an excuse. I really don’t know but I don’t care either. I am just glad its happening.

On another note, my youngest son turns 5 on the 27th of this month. The next day, Saturday, will be the party. My parents both said they no that I will be coming up on Friday, so I don’t know what to think about whether I need to find a place to stay or not while I am there. I guess I’ll just have to wing it. So, I know he is only 5 but he really loves video games. He currently has a leapster, an internet launch pad, a smart cycle, and a whole bunch of educational style video games. Well this time I got him the non-educational kind and got him a nintendo DS.

He has been asking me for months and months so I finally got it. I figure he’ll have to share it with his brother but none the less it will be his. I also got him the pokemon game with it (and of course I have been playing it myself until it comes time to give it to him *WEG*). I have had it for a few months so I have had plenty of practice with it.

So am I the only one who plays with my kids toys before giving them as gifts?
