I talked to my mother Friday night and heard some awesome news. Some very kind gentleman decided to take it upon himself to get my ex, her boyfriend, and their tent off my parents backlawn. Who? Know one has any idea. It came in as a random phone call. Here’s what happened.

Some guy called up to my parents house, apparently he must have blocked his number before calling because my parents have caller id. Anyways, when my dad answered this guy told my dad that if my parents didn’t get her off the backlawn, he was going to call child protective services on them! )

So my mother tells me they have no choice but to talk to my ex and tell her she has to go. That couldn’t be more amazing! I really wonder if this website had anything to do with it. Or perhaps it was just a entirely made up story for my parents to have an excuse. I really don’t know but I don’t care either. I am just glad its happening.

On another note, my youngest son turns 5 on the 27th of this month. The next day, Saturday, will be the party. My parents both said they no that I will be coming up on Friday, so I don’t know what to think about whether I need to find a place to stay or not while I am there. I guess I’ll just have to wing it. So, I know he is only 5 but he really loves video games. He currently has a leapster, an internet launch pad, a smart cycle, and a whole bunch of educational style video games. Well this time I got him the non-educational kind and got him a nintendo DS.

He has been asking me for months and months so I finally got it. I figure he’ll have to share it with his brother but none the less it will be his. I also got him the pokemon game with it (and of course I have been playing it myself until it comes time to give it to him *WEG*). I have had it for a few months so I have had plenty of practice with it.

So am I the only one who plays with my kids toys before giving them as gifts?

Well fathers day is only a few days off. Its on June 15 for those who don’t know (September 7 for Au and Nz residents). One of the complaints I hear every year is about both women and children not knowing what to get their fathers. Sadly most people just ignore this holiday because of it. Mothers day is a huge event, but fathers day gets lost for most people. Well it shouldn’t!

Fathers are just as much an important part of a child’s life as the mother is. Granted guys aren’t as easy to shop for as women are. We generally don’t want someone to go out and pick us a bunch of flowers. Its just not our thing. Well what is our thing? Well one thing I find guys don’t get enough of in life is cologne! I don’t know if women just don’t know what types of cologne to buy, or what the case is.

What I do know is that its not just girls who like to smell nice! In fact, I hate the smell of deodorant. Its just not appeasing to me. So after my deodorant I put on cologne. Its something I know a bit about as well. Actually I know a lot about fashion even though I am not “trendy” or “fashionable” in my attire.

So first let me tell you about the amazing and wonderful fragrance known as 212 for men. It was a fragrance introduced in 1999 by Carolina Herrera. Its fragrance smells like a combination of mandarin, grapefruit, iron woods, and sandalwood. It is recommended for daytime use, not evenings and is given a classification of being oriental/spicy. It has a scent life of 6 to 10 hours and a moderate scent strength.

I know that personally I will not get anything except some people online wishing me a happy fathers day. It makes me sad each and every year. Honestly make someones fathers day a fathers day to remember. I assure you they will appreciate it!

Well I didn’t get around to calling last night until about 6:30 at night. I actually put it off figuring no one would be at the house until then. Well guess what? The kids are coming today!! YAY!! *does a happy dance* Hopefully they just remember to bring their bikes!

Okay now its time for some honesty. My past decided to rear its ungly head and get me in trouble last night. You see, I admit I am only human and I have made some very s*itty mistakes in my life. Two of these mistakes I have repeated over and over again so many times that its sick really. What are they? First is the fact I have been known to lie.

Now let me tell you, my friends have never considered me a liar. In fact I try VERY hard not to lie to them. I really don’t see the need to lie. Be a man about things and own up to what you have done and admit your mistakes. However with my family, I can’t say I use this advice. I do lie to them, and rather often. Why? Because I don’t like hearing all the BS that comes with telling them the truth. I get sick of hearing there judgements of my life, and sometimes it just avoids a huge confrontation. Other times I am truly ashamed at things I have done and would rather not own up to them, especially to my family. *sighs* I can only imagine what you are thinking at this point!

Now the second of the mistakes I am referring to is stealing *sighs* What do I even say about this. I have been known in my past to steal. Only from my family, specifically speaking my parents but none the less it is something that has reoccurred time and time again. Just like with the first topic, my friends would tell you I am of the utmost trusting person and in fact frequently get left alone in various friends houses and never take anything.

However this is not the case with my parents. I have been known to take small ammounts of cash (a twenty hear or there). There have also been one or two occations when I took much larger sums of money (like hundreds). I do try hard to keep myself in check and not steal but sometimes its hard. Its one of my biggest reoccuring sins.

So I suppose it comes as no surprize that if something turns up missing the instant reaction is not “well maybe I misplaced it”, instead its “Bruce was arround he probably took it”. Well its one of those type things that happened last night. Apparently my mother had $300 put away in her room (which is deadbolt locked) and it turned up missing. Sense I was there just over a week ago, its blamed on me. When I asked how I could have, I was told “I don’t know but you have your ways”.

Now they are telling me they don’t want me to stay at their house when I come to visit anymore. I suppose that will be managable but man what a pain in the ass its going to be. I will probably end up camping outside (off the property where the kids WON’T see me) for the weekends I go out there. What I really need to do is start getting things organized in my life so I can get an appartment and have my kids live with me full time. That will certainly end the problems of me being accused of things because with my history, it doesn’t matter if I did them or not I am to blame and the fact I have lied, means I am automatically lying.

Its one of those things where I made my own bed and now I have to lay in it, its just tough sometimes. I wish I could fix all the mistakes I have made in my past. Anyways… I really need to get my spirits lifted up because the kids will be here in just a few hours!

So many things are going wrong right now I can’t even begin to explain. For starters my main website is not longer online, or more correctly the domain name expired. On top of that paypal changed the rules sense I last used them and you can no longer send money out without a verified account. I don’t have a bank account or credit card to verify my account, and this leaves me without the $9.00 required to renew my domain name! Thats part one.

So this dumb s**t where I live decides to call my roommates and tries telling them that the reason I don’t live with my kids is because I am a pedophile. OMG!! Now luckily my roommates are smarter then that and they realize if that was true I wouldn’t be allowed to have my kids for visits or anything. However..

I went out with a friend last night (someone I really don’t know well just recently started hanging with him) and I told him about the conversation. He says to me “well you kind of do seem a little weird you gotta expect some people are going to think that”. WHAT?? IAM TOTALLY FREAKING OUT. What does he mean I should expect that? Are you nuts? We just expect some people are pedophiles now because of how they act? Where does anyone get off using that logic? Where does anyone get off saying I act like a pedophile? What the fuck does a pedophile act like? *deep breath*

Okay and lets finish this up with, my kids are supposed to be coming tomorrow right? Well my father tells me everytime I come to visit, I will know when they are coming he will give me a call a couple days in advance. Well I havn’t received any calls! Does this mean he isn’t bringing them? I will totally bug out on someone if they don’t bring my kids this weekend. They will find me sitting on their doorstep sometime next week I almost garauntee!

I could keep yapping but what would be the point, they would just be more bitches and complaints about how my life is currently going. So much going on and so many stresses and I don’t know what to do about it all. At the moment I need to focus though…. call my folks and find out whats going on with the kids…

At what age do you first tell your children about sex and bad people? When do you tell them about “good touch bad touch”? What exactly do you say? Well I can tell you this, both my kids go to school. One goes to pre-k and the other is in first grade. Being how they both go to school, they have both been taught. Even if that wasn’t the case, if they get left with a baby sitter, they would be taught! From the time your child is old enough to understand, if they are being left with someone other then the parents, they should be taught. This is a simple reality.

With my kids, I flat out told them in front of other adults “If anyone ever touches you in your private area, you tell me, or mommy, or grandpa, or grandma, or all of us. If one of us ever touches you like that, you tell a different person.” There are no exceptions to this rule. I don’t tell them its okay for a doctor, because frankly I’d rather my child tell me and me decide if its okay. Especially at the ages they are now.

They have also been taught that playing house and/or doctor is wrong. Its wrong to do with a neighbor girl, and its DEFINITELY wrong to do with each other. I have also told them (and I am sure this may piss off a lot of readers) that touching another boy is not just wrong but God tells us not too. I tell them they should never touch another boy and they should never let another boy touch them. I also have told them they should never touch each other.

This is just basic information to me. This is the things my children at the young ages they are should hear these things. Its not getting into huge detail, its just teaching them right from wrong and how to handle the wrong situations.

I want to stress I am a firm believer in christianity and whereas I don’t judge anyone for there particular beliefs or sexual preferences, I also don’t condone it. I tell many of my friends who are bisexual I think that what they do is wrong, but its not my choice to make and I am not the one who has to answer to it. I can’t judge them as I don’t know the detailed thoughts in their brain, but what I can do is teach people that it is wrong according to the laws that God delivered to man.

Also my kids are supposed to be coming to see me this weekend which will be awesome! So I am excited as always. And this time they should have their bikes!! Hopefully over the weekend I will have my oldest riding!! Wish me luck!!!!!

Well its a bit overdue but I figured its time I update you on what happened while I was visiting my kids last week.

I could start by saying my oldest (he’s 6 years old, almost 7, for those who don’t know) doesn’t yet know how to ride a bike. Technically thats not correct though. He has a bike thats way to small for him that he has no problem riding. The problem is the bike that is his size (actually just a TOUCH to big for him). He still has a problem getting enough speed with to stay balanced and upright. So while I was there we worked on that for a bit. I also told him the next time he comes to my house to bring the bike cause I have more pavement for him to learn on (the house where he lives has nothing but a dirt driveway).

I also tried teaching both my kids the baby bumble bee song but couldn’t remember it all for the life of me. So now I looked it up and its posted below so I won’t forget!

I taught them the rules of hopscotch and told them to bring chalk next time the come to visit me also. We can draw a hopscotch board on the sidewalk and play )

Okay last thing about the visit I want to share. We have a game called balloon lagoon (you can get your own at the kbtoys website). My youngest son LOVES the game. Basically its a carnival board game in which you go around doing the different games earning balloons, the first to collect all the balloons wins.

Anyways, my ex said something about “maybe playing with him”. To my kids that is as good as saying you will. Why else would you mention it out of the blue. So he was all excited about playing. He kept runniong around the house saying we were all going to play. Well when I asked him where he got the idea he said “mommy said so”.

She butt right in saying “I said maybe”. At the time she was saying that she was getting ready to walk out the door of coarse, implying she wasn’t going to play. So, I told him I would play with him instead. Well as luck would have it, it started raining before she got the chance to leave (she was walking to see her boyfriend) so she never got to leave.

So I started asking her how to play. I was totally acting like I had never played before. So she said she would sit with us and show me how to play. Well after we got the game set up, I just set her out her playing piece and basically “forced” her to play.

My youngest was so happy. Its not often mommy actually plays with them. Mostly she just takes them out to eat or goes shopping with them. I do my best to keep her in check but its not easy when I am not around full time. So it was definitely nice. I love seeing him that happy. I just wish I could get it through to her that her kids are so much more important then she seems to understand!

You know, whenever I come to visit my children there is a lot of tension in the air. My family is just short of hating me, and then the ex being here only heightens matters. Well this visit has been no exception to that, however there was a little difference – I stayed longer. I stayed just over a week, but only a week of it did I actually stay here at my parents with the kids. 7 full days.

Well the first mishap was the second night I stayed here. My parents both work and so a babysitter watches the kids while they work, and she brings my youngest to pre-k. She has been here a million times in the past while I was here with no problems. This time however my ex was around. Now I am not pointing any fingers (oh hell who am I kidding yes I am) but magically after having spent the day together, the girl decides to tell my parents that she is not comfortable with me being here.

So what do my parents do? They try to tell me that I have to start coming only on the weekends and not more then every other weekend. Excuse me? For starters, this babysitter can kiss my fscking arse. These are my kids and if she doesn’t feel comfortable with me being here then as far as I am concerned she can take a flying leap. Go home when I am here. Nope I don’t have a car but I can sure as heck my sure my child makes it to school and back.

Whats worse is the fact that its just starting to get warmer weather out. I don’t want to see my kids less. I am used to coming in at random without notice. Some weeks its a full two weeks, others its more like 10 days, and even sometimes more like 7 days apart. It all depends on how I feel about making the walk. Well they suddenly thing I am going to start contacting them before I come and not coming so often and all this other crap. BS!! They are going to be in for a hell of a surprise if they really think that.

No I won’t be walking back in a week or anything like that, not after staying a full week. Thats just not something I would do. But after a couple times of “following the rules” I can guarantee that I will just randomly come back unannounced and unexpected in the middle of the week on a day I shouldn’t show up. Such is my life. I don’t do schedules well at all. I just go with what feels right in all I do.

Also while I was here, I talked to my parents about my childs mother living in the tent outback. I told them they really need to tell her if she can live in a tent, then she can do it off the property. So they said they would have a talk with her. Instead of saying anything remotely close to what I said they told her that she need to get a job and get out of the tent as soon as possible.

HAVE WE ALL GONE FSCKING MAD??

I am told I come around to much and this bitch who lives here yet barely sees her kids is told she can stay, in a tent, as long as she gets a job? Holy fuck. I need to start a donations page or something to help get myself my own apartment so I can bring my kids somewhere healthy. The only problem is, I really doubt anyone would donate to someone like me *sighs* (don’t bother telling me to get a job, read my past posts)

I suppose that God will show me the way, I just have to ask and be patient.

I’ll update tomorrow or Tuesday as to what I did with my kids while I was here.

Lets face it, a parent has two jobs. First and foremost is what I am always babbling on about, raising your child. However the second thing is almost just as important and thats interacting with your child. Finding things you and your children can do together is very important and certainly will make your child a much happier one. Well as a parent I realize this. So I have to constantly search for various ideas and activities.

Thats exactly what I was doing before I started writing this post, and it hit me. If I have to do this, wouldn’t it be handy if other parents didn’t have to? If the work was already done for them?
